I hate trying to post to blogger from the CEBA lab computers! I don't know what the deal is!
Anyway, I was trying to point out why I will never be able to marry/procreate with people from the Ville Platte/Eunice/Opelousas area...in fact, I should try and stick to people who have never been to Louisiana.

With your common ancestor dating back to the 1760s, I'm thinking you're OK. Not that it wouldn't be a little weird marrying someone with the same last name.
That would be assuming that no Fontenot ever married a Fontenot...my parents prove that wrong.
